Hugging Face just dropped a $399 robot duck, and it is already a massive hit.
The open-source AI giant teamed up with Pollen Robotics to build Microduck, a tiny bipedal bot designed to make physical AI development cheap and easy.
It sold over $2.6 million in pre-orders in just 24 hours.
The details:
Microduck is 10 inches tall, weighs under 800 grams, and uses its articulated beak to pick up objects as heavy as itself.
The robot comes packed with 15 motors, a camera, and a LiDAR sensor to walk, kick, roller-skate, and recover from falls.
Developers can train the robot's brain in a physics simulator and easily push that code to the physical hardware.
Hugging Face announced the bot on August 27, 2026, and huge demand has already pushed new orders to a four to six month wait.

OpenAI Pulls the Plug on Elon Musk's Cursor

OpenAI is officially pulling its models from Cursor following SpaceX's massive $60 billion buyout of the AI tool.
